The Bonny Marlin System®

A product incorporating new technology and a revolutionary approach for automotive refinishing and other businesses.  This new product will provide maximum results with the added benefit of Pollution Prevention, Hazardous Waste Elimination, and Material Minimization.

The Bonny Marlin System (patent pending) will solve an existing problem of utilizing lacquer thinner as a cleaning solvent for paint spray gun cleaning.  Lacquer thinner is toxic, flammable, contains Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), Hazard Air Pollutants (HAPs), produces costly hazardous waste, and is harmful to workers’ health and the environment.  These solvents account for approximately 80% of all VOCs produced by auto refinishing businesses.  The drums housing the toxic lacquer thinner at the auto refinishing facilities are often referred to as “Drums of Liability”.

The Bonny Marlin System eliminates the need for lacquer thinner in paint spray gun cleanup.  The revolutionary system incorporates features not available in any other piece of equipment on the market today.  The Bonny Marlin System is a self-contained paint spray gun cleaner and solution recycler.  Products currently on the market typically require two pieces of equipment one for gun cleaning and one for recycling.  At least one (if not both) requires electrical power at the source.

The Bonny Marlin System® incorporates the following features:

·        A single unit that houses Clean, Rinse, and Recycling functions (patent pending).

·        Acrastrip®5000 cleaning solution (patented).

·        A gravitational recycling process, which incorporates, patented filters.

·        No electrical requirement at the unit, which allows the unit (combined Clean, Rinse, and Recycle capability) to be placed in a paint mixing lab.  This provides for a significant efficiency advantage over other solutions on the market today.

In addition to providing the desired results in paint gun cleaning, the Bonny Marlin System® is:

ü      Non-Toxic

ü      Free of Hazardous Air Pollutants

ü      Generates Zero Hazardous Waste

ü      Non-Flammable

ü      Recyclable

ü      Reduces Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) emissions by 80%

Businesses utilizing the Bonny Marlin System will:

·        Reduce the risk of criminal and civil liability.

·        Reduce operating costs.

·        Protect the public health and the environment.

·        Improve employee morale, participation in environmental protection, and safety.

·         Enhance the company’s image in the community.

On June 18th Montgomery County, Md. will be the launching point for a new technology that once implemented and utilized regionally and nationally will reduce the impact of pollutants on our natural resources.
