D&M Distributors (t/a "Bonny Marlin Co.") and Scuderi Auto Body, Inc., of 
Rockville, MD, together, along with five other companies, have won the Most 
Valuable Pollution Prevention Award from the National Pollution Prevention 
Roundtable. Bonny Marlin Co./Scuderi Auto Body invented, developed and 
implemented the "Bonny Marlin Water Wash System" for cleaning paint guns in 
the automotive collision repair industry. The system eliminates VOCs 
(Volatile Organic Compounds) generated by conventional paint gun cleaners as 
well as the use of toxic/flammable lacquer thinner.
The award ceremony will take place at the Senate Hart Office Building in 
Wash., D.C., on Sept. 18.
